Well fuckers, the wait is over. The kind people at XXL posted the Mixtape this morning, and I apologize for taking so long to post it, but I was bein’ selfish, and bumpin’ the fuck out of it. I bumped it riding through The G, on the way to the beach, on my way to work, on my way home, and even now I’m still bumpin’ it. This right here is 100% Certified Crack Music. Real street shit. Fuck the rest out there, shit, throw those other CD’s out, and roll wit the Babyfaced Killa as he takes you on audio stroll through the streets of Gibbs, Indiana. Trust me….you will NOT be disappointed. Hit the link and DL bitches….it’s Gibbs hoe!!!
Yesterday I posted the first official video (L.A. to JFK) off of Gotham Green & DJ Quickie Mart’s Haze Diaries 3, and today I have another leak for the masses to enjoy. This joint, “Tell Me Something” features Freddie Gibbs and Jess Hudak. Peep the track and enjoy. It’s a banger, but what else do you expect from the GG (Gotham Green & Gangsta Gibbs) duo.
Gotham Green ft. Freddie Gibbs & Jess Hudak - Tell Me Something
Here’s a flick dedicated to that sweet lady Mary Jane off of Haze Diaries 3.

I haven’t meant to turn this site into a 219 movement site, but it is what it is. The region needs a voice, and I like to be loud, so there you have it. Now this next artist I’m leaking isn’t from Indiana, he’s from Texas, but he’s been calling Indiana home for a hot minute. The artist, formerly known as Dead Bodiez, now goes by the name Yello Boi, and is one of the rawest engineers and producers so stake claim ’round these parts. His music is a cross between Dirty South trunk music, and Midwest Gangsta Shit, and even though some may think those two wouldn’t mix, well…,they’re wrong. This leak is off his forthcoming 3rd Coast Born album. The song. ‘We Right Theyyaa” is what I would consider a club/ let you know the business track I guess. The beat is bouncy, and get’s your head noddin’ and Bodiez (sorry, I’m used to referring to him as that) gives you the business over the bouncy track. When you on the floor at the club and this comes on, just don’t spill ya drink on the people next to you, cuz you just may end up in the graveyard.

The time has come. More specifically, our time has come. Every few years a different region of this glorious country (if you can call it that nowadays) gets their chance to shine in the spotlight of the music industry. Well every region but the Northwest Indiana region. I know some of you are reading this right now, and thinking, Northwest Indiana? Yes, you read that correctly. Situated a mere 25 minutes from Downtown Chicago, “The Region” as people in the Midwest know it, has constantly, despite the hotbed of talent, has gotten pushed to the back burner. Don’t believe me. Google such artists as The Grind Family, C.C.A., Ric Jilla, Freddie Gibbs, and not but not least, Vizion. They all have reached regional, and national success, whether they graced magazine covers such as Murder Dog, were featured on video game soundtracks, movie soundtracks, or commercial campaigns. Shit, even C.C.A., and The Grind Fam broke through, and entered the Billboard Charts at one point. After being at a stand still for a few years, “The Region” artists are now poised to get the recognition they deserve. Freddie Gibbs, a Gary bred MC has been in regular rotation on MTV with his video “The Ghetto”. With the door being broke down, artists from the area have started banding together to create a soon to be unstoppable movement. With that said, I, Rob Villain, have vowed to do whatever it takes to get exposure for some of the hardest working MC’s in the area. In the coming weeks, Villain Radio will be releasing a mixtape featuring the most talented artists from the state. The tape, titled Indiana Legends will showcase what I’ve known for years. That we have some of the best MC’s in the game. To start things off, I have hand picked Vizion to lead us out the gate. Never heard of him? Google him. you’ll be more then surprised about his accomplishments, and the funny thing is, he don’t care about what he has achieved, he just wants to be heard. A lil’ cocky, and arrogant, but humble and self aware, he is the epitome of what am MC should be today.
So with no further ado, Villain Radio and Vizion present to you…..”Never Break”, the first official single from Indiana Legends.

Sidenote: Drunk At Church coming soon

Usually this is where I ramble on about somethings having do with whatever artist I’m posting about. Not this time folks. This time I’m going to let the music speak for itself. Well, kind if anyway. This song, titled, “Wars And Rumors of Wars”, is a real talk, no holds bars track from a Northwest Indiana artist, who I think is ready to take on the world with his music. Having been heavily involved in the music scene around these parts for the better part if 11 years, I was surprised he slipped under my usually keen radar. Off of his freshly released The Starving Artist album, David shoots the shit over a rockin’ beat and spits some of the realest shit ever heard about the subject he’s speaking on, all while doing it from the heart (you can hear it in his voice). Basically in short, he’s saying some shit we’ve all wanted to say at some point in time about this place we call home. So enjoy the song as much as I have, and make sure you get a hold of David on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/david.costa) to purchase a copy for yourself, cuz when it’s all said and done, The Starving Artist will go down as one of 2010’s best releases…..you have my word!!!!

Ok, so here’s the deal. Every muthafuckin’ section of the country has basically got their shine on, or a chance to shine in the industry spotlight.
Except the Midwest.
Sure Twista, Kanye, Eminem, and Nelly have had their success rackin’ up platinum plaques, and ringtone sales, but the Midwest as a whole, is much, much bigger, and more diverse then you would imagine.
Like the above mentioned artists, the Middy Mid is chock full of underground talent that has tasted regional success, especially in the Northwest Indiana/ Chicago area. Ric Jilla, Thugged Out, The Grind Family, and C.C.A. have all been at the brink, only to be pulled back to the streets over bullshit or bad business deals, or in C-Mack from C.C.A.’s case, incarceration.
Well guess what you fuckers?
We about to blow!!!
With the industry door bein’ currently blown off the hinges by Gary’s own Freddie Gibbs, the aforementioned artists are poised to reenter the industry foyer much more hungrier then the first time around.
Take former Grind Family member Soope for example. After major magazine covers, features, multiple roster changes, fucked up industry politics, and everyday bullshit, he’s still here, feet firmly planted in the booth.
And he’s callin’ us together to create a movement so big, it cannot be ignored.
In almost five minutes Soope shouts out everyone in the 219 that’s real about they music shit, and he does it in song form, this isn’t some outro track that he’s ramblin’ thank yous and shit like they were closing credits. This man is straight givin’ you the business, and for what it’s worth, the joint is dope as fuck, and I’m not sayin’ that because he shouts out Nu Era (VillainRadio’s parent company) in the song. I’m sayin’ it because it’s something that could of should of been done a long time ago.
So in a VillainRadio Xclusive, I present to you……

After lingering in the underground for almost 10 year, The Low Flow Playaz have poised themselves for a break through. A break through they so rightfully deserve.
After suffering a major set back 2 years ago in which, Apollo Greed and Flazh, the two talented individuals that make up The L.F.P., found out their longtime manager had been stealing from right out under their noses. So just as any other group, and/ or artist would do, they jumped ship and set sail so to speak.
During the last two years Flazh, and Greed both have faced, and battled personal demons that may have derailed many of us from chasing our dreams, but they came back even stronger, and ready for W.A.R., their first new studio album since their management debacle.
WA.R., which will be released in iTunes and all other major online outlets on July 4th, 2010, was produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered in-house by Apollo Greed, and is a very reflective album with deep lyrical substance that makes you think.
Ok, enough about W.A.R., I’m here to present to you, the first in a long line of VillainRadio produced mixtapes, my own Gangsta Grillz if you will.
This mixtape is a collection of new and old songs, and a few that didn’t make the cut for W.A.R., it features guest appearances from Freddie Gibbs, Newsense of Psychodrama, Father Tyme, and Dead Bodiez, amongst others.
So here you go, VillainRadio Presents – The Low Flow Playaz: Operation PreEmptive Strike

Let the leaks continue.
This is a VillainRadio Exclusive from Yung Indiana, an up and coming artist out of Gary, In.
